EDMOND —
The Sawtooth Valley Meditation Chapel in the Sawtooth Mountains in Stanley, Idaho was the setting for the August 1, 2009 wedding of Caitlin Alice Hegwood of Edmond and Jakob Tanner Renz of Boise, Idaho.
The bride is the daughter of Mary and Mike Ryan of Edmond and the late Wesley F. Hegwood. The groom is the son of Richard and Barbara Renz, and Barbara and Jake Howard, all of Boise.
The ceremony was officiated by Hannah Stauts, Mayor of Stanley, Idaho.
The maid of honor was Evelyn M. Hegwood, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rachel Anderson of Edmond, and Kate Irwin and Alicia Irwin, both of Ketchum, Idaho.
The best man was Derek Robb of Boise. Serving as groomsmen and ushers were Brian Robb, Brett Swanson and Kyle Robb, all of Boise.
A reception was held on the North Shore Beach of Redfish Lake in Idaho.
The couple has planned a November honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, and is a student at Boise State University, majoring in education. The groom is a 2007 graduate of Colorado School of Mines, and is an electrical engineer.
The newlyweds reside in Boise.
