Meghan E. Fitzpatrick and Rex L. Scha

EDMOND — Meghan E. Fitzpatrick and Rex L. Schad were united in marriage by the Reverend Michelle Andstandt on Aug. 23 at Westover Country Club in Jefferson, Pennsylvania. A reception and dinner followed at the country club.

The bride is the daughter of Edward and Maureen Fitzpatrick of Royersford, Pennsylvania. Meghan is a 2004 graduate of Royersford High School. She is a U.S. Army Military Intelligence Analyst at Ft. Lewis, Washington.

The groom is the son of Colleen Whipple and the grandson of Harold and Beryl Whipple of Edmond. Rex is a 2005 graduate of Boulevard Academy. He is a Team Leader in a Stryker Brigade at Ft. Lewis.

Matron of Honor was Colleen Fitzpatrick, the bride’s sister. Her sisters Kate and Molly were Bride’s Attendants. The best man was Max Whipple, the groom’s brother.

Their honeymoon has been delayed. After the wedding date was set and all arrangements were made the Army assigned Meghan to Linguist School. She was only allowed enough leave for a weekend wedding and travel to and from the wedding site.
