EDMOND —
The scenic mountaintop at Angel Fire, N.M. served as the setting for the July 28, 2012 wedding of Elizabeth Ann Spencer of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Sean Spencer Jackson of Edmond, Okla.
The couple exchanged vows beneath an Aspen tree arch adorned with flowers and crystals. Reverend Jeremy Basset of Oklahoma City officiated the ceremony, as family and friends looked on.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Shari Spencer of Oklahoma City.
The groom is the son of Rick and Shirley Jackson of Edmond.
Kristen Rosenau of Oklahoma City, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Lauran Spencer of Midwest City, sister-in-law of the bride, and Meg Bond of Midlothian, Texas, a friend of the bride.
The best man was Stuart Jackson of Stillwater, Okla., brother of the groom. Serving as groomsmen and ushers were Chase Warden of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Brent Opfer of Arlington, Texas, both friends of the groom from Deer Creek High School.
The flower girls were Reagan and Avery Baskin of Edmond, nieces of the groom.
The ring bearers were Carter Adams of Jacksonville, Ark., nephew of the groom, and Kale Spencer of Midwest City, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at Summit Haus at the mountain top of Angel Fire.
The newlyweds returned August 4th from a honeymoon trip to Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
The bride is an emergency room RN at St. Anthony’s Hospital and the groom is an independent insurance agent at Terra Insure Group.
They have made their home in Stillwater, Okla.
