EDMOND — Nina Viktoria Meyer of Rhens, Germany and Bradley William Shewmaker, formerly of Edmond, Okla., were united in marriage on July 11, 2009 at Florins Church in Koblenz, Germany.
Tony McCarty of Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Kerstin Schneider of Bonn, Germany, were the wedding attendants.
The bride is the daughter of Ilona Meyer and the late Carl Meyer of Rhens, Germany, and the granddaughter of Ingeborg Werno of Koblenz, Germany. She graduated from the University of Bingen with a degree in Biotechnology Engineering, then worked in Berlin and later in Sydney, Australia.
The groom is the son of Robert and Marilyn Shewmaker of Edmond. After graduating from
the University of Oklahoma with a Business degree, he lived in Los Angeles, Calif., and later in Sydney, Australia, where he met Nina.
A reception with a dinner dance was held at the Castle Namedy. After a honeymoon at Split, Croatia, the couple has made their home in Groenlo, the Netherlands.
