Abbie Suzanne Thomas of Edmond, Okla. and Eric Jonathan Paul Sivertson of Tyler, Texas exchanged wedding vows on December 3, 2011 at Crown Heights United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Okla. Rev. Evan Dare officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kay Thomas of Edmond.
The groom is the son of Eric and Nancy Sivertson of Tyler, Texas.
The maid of honor was Julie Thomas of Oklahoma City, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister-in-law, Kinsey Thomas of Oklahoma City. Bridesmaids were Hayley Diffee of Oklahoma City, Lindsay Doty and Lindsey South, both of Edmond, and Kristina Sivertson and Sarah Sivertson, both sisters of the groom, of Tyler, Texas.
House party included Mallory Stulce of Edmond; Rachel Martin, Anne Carter, and Sara Young of Oklahoma City, and Erin Cook of Gardner, Kan.
The best man was Jason Ruark of Tyler, Texas. The groomsmen were Eric Eves of Topeka, Kan.; Brett Ridings of Houston, Texas; Jared Thomas, brother of the bride; Russell Turman of Dallas, Texas; Travis Urbanovsky of Carrizo Springs, Texas, and Jack Woodworth of Houston, Texas.
Ushers were Jeff Bond of Houston, Texas; Judson Knight of Henderson, Texas; Blaine Morris of Addison, Texas, and David Rader of Oklahoma City.
The ring bearer was Parker Thomas of Oklahoma City, nephew of the bride.
The bride and groom were honored at a reception at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the newlyweds have made their home in Oklahoma City. They are both are employed by Chesapeake Energy.
