EDMOND —
Alisha Shalyn Houk and Michael Lee Ruby of Edmond, Okla. were united in marriage on November 6, 2010 at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Kelly Roberts.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Marina Houk of Edmond and the groom is the son of Don and Shirley Ruby of Tecumseh, Okla.
The bride’s sister, Jennifer Jones of Edmond, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine Scheidt of McKinney, Texas and Cassie Gehay of Edmond.
The best man was Dan Boles of Edmond, and groomsman was Paul Kinyanjui of Edmond.
Alyssa and Lauren Jones of Edmond, nieces of the bride, served as the flower girls, and the ring bearer was Drake Jones, nephew of the bride.
The bride and groom enjoyed a two-week honeymoon in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park in North Carolina and Washington, D.C.
