EDMOND —
Jessica Lindley Hood and William James Reyes, both of Tulsa, Okla., were married February 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Edmond.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Linda Hood of Edmond, and the granddaughter of Tut Gamble and the late Trecil Gamble of Oklahoma City, and Bill and Sally Hood and the late Maruice Hood, also of Oklahoma City.
The groom is the son of Santiago and Glenyce Reyes de la Rocha of Edmond. He is the grandson of the late Nelson and Maureen Ferguson of Canada and Maria Natalia Reyes and the late Santiago Reyes Valdes of the Dominican Republic.
Reverend Evan Dare of Sapulpa, Okla. officiated the ceremony.
The maid of honor was Hayley Hood of Edmond. Bridesmaids were Whittney Hood, Whitney Gamble, and Chelsea Woods, all of Edmond. The flower girl was Sophia Pou of the Dominican Republic and the ring bearer was Evan Reyes of Norman.
The best man was Patrick McAleer of Orono, Maine. Groomsmen were Joey Duplessis of Winthrop, Maine, Brandon Walker of Leon, Kan., and Ben Friend of Tahlequah, Okla. Ushers were Josh Hood of Edmond, Ray Reyes of Norman, Blake Gamble of Edmond and Matthew Maluga of Oshawa Ontario, Canada.
Diane Caporale served as house party. The sword detail of the United States Marine Corps included Bryan Cornelius, John Thurman, Robert Hinojosa, Brian Cripps, Johnny Noteboom, Joey Strange, Wilson Payne, Garrett Babb and Richard Powell. Musicians included Kelly Cheek and Jeanine Gully of Edmond and Dede Benton of Denton, Texas.
The wedding reception was held at the Rose Creek Country Club in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds reside in Tulsa, where Lindley is employed by First Fidelity Bank and William is employed by the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department and as a United States Marie Corps reservist.
