EDMOND —
The First Christian Church of Apache, Okla. was the setting for the August 27, 2011 wedding of Lyndsay Nichole Kathleen Prewitt of Edmond, Okla. and Travis Allen Head of Apache.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Sandy Prewitt of Edmond, and the groom is the son of Harold and Tammie Head of Apache.
Rev. June Prewitt, grandmother of the bride, officiated the ceremony.
The maid of honor was Katelyn Prewitt of Edmond, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kaci Head of Apache, sister-in-law of the groom, and Reagan Head, also of Apache, sister of the groom.
The best man was Jared Head of Apache, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Palmer and Mason Beavers, both of Apache.
Ushers were Cameron Prewitt and Caleb Prewitt of Guthrie, Okla., brothers of the bride.
The flowergirls were Kennedy Bryant of Bend, Ore., cousin of the bride; and Adlynn McCracken of Apache, cousin of the groom.
The ring bearers were Khyan, Kolton and Daxon Prewitt of Guthrie, nephews of the bride.
The newlyweds were honored at a reception at the Apache Community Building and later left for a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride is a daycare provider and the groom works for Dolese. They will make their home in Apache.
