EDMOND —     St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, Okla., was the setting for the April 6, 2013 wedding of Christina Leialoha Root of Edmond, Okla., and Douglas Paul Kastl of Yukon. Father William Novak, V.G. officiated the ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Michael Ray and Elaine Debra Root of Edmond.

    The groom is the son of Thomas Paul and Vickie Lynn Kastl of Yukon.

    The maid of honor was Jacqueline Raymond of Oklahoma City. Bridesmaids were Ashley Kastl of Yukon, Amanda Lile and Lynzi Guttridge, both of Oklahoma City, Liz Nelson of Ada, Okla.; Cassandra Wiley of Edmond, and Natasha Alikhanki, also of Oklahoma City.

    The best man was Michael Biles of Yukon. Groomsmen were Courtney Kastl of Yukon, Patrick Kastl of Keller, Texas, Mark Von Feldt of Oklahoma City, David Pfaff of Moore, Joe Parizek of Yukon and Brandon Kolar of Edmond.

    Tyler Beauchamp of Mesquite and Jodie Schmidt of Yukon served as ushers.

    The flower girl was Kyla Kastl of Keller, Texas,  and the ring bearer was Cooper Kastl of Yukon.

    After a wedding reception at Will Rogers Theatre in Oklahoma City, the couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Jamaica.

    Christina is the director of Promise Learning Academy and Douglas is employed as an account executive with Lakeland Marketing.

    The newlyweds have made their home in Yukon.
