EDMOND — The First United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City was the setting for the July 26, 2008 wedding of Jaime Dawn Wechsler of Edmond, Okla. and John Matthew “Matt” Martin of Newalla, Okla.
The bride is the daughter of Benjie and Marsha Wechsler of Edmond. The groom is the son of John and Elaine Martin of Newalla.
Pastor Ken Surritte officiated the ceremony.
The matron of honor was Lindsay Mingee of Edmond. The bridesmaids were Pam Jaronek of Oklahoma City, Melissa Littke and Camille Pritchard, both of Edmond, Karen Stark of Fort Worth, Texas and Jennifer Tracy of Owasso, Okla.
The best man was Michael Martin of Newalla, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Brad Wechsler of Edmond, brother of the bride; Josh Tracy of Owasso, Matt Garman and Andrew Gammill, both of Choctaw, Okla. and Tyler Azevedo of Oklahoma City.
The ushers were Vernon Deas of Oklahoma City and Ryan Legg of Broken Arrow, Okla.
The flower girls were Kamdyn VanDorn and Hayley VanDorn, both of Edmond and cousins of the bride.
The reception was held at the Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon to Oahu and Maui in the Hawaiian Islands, the couple resides in Moore, Okla.
The bride is a Labor and Delivery nurse at Integris Hospital and the groom is a Software Developer for Riskmetrics Group in Norman, Okla.
