EDMOND — Kelm Baptist Church in Kelm, Okla. was the setting for the May 16, 2009 wedding of Karen Gail Bolen of Bokchito, Okla. and Justin Colt Welch of Edmond, Okla. Pastor Roger Spears officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lon & Judy Bolen of Bokchito, and the groom is the son of Richard and Debbie Welch of Edmond.
The matron of honor was Kathy McGill and the bridesmaid was Kady McGill, both of Haskell. Jacy McGill served as the flower girl.
The best man was Brian Alexander of Oklahoma City, Okla., and the groomsman was Stephen Shain of Durant, Okla.
A reception for the couple was held at the Kelm Baptist Church.
Karen graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology, and earned her Masters degree in Science in 2009. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist with Rehab Source in Oklahoma City.
Justin graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science with minors in Finance and Business Administration. He works for Globe Marketing Services in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Edmond.
