Stephanie Brooke Hansen and Bryan Nicholas Coy


EDMOND — Stephanie Brooke Hansen and Bryan Nicholas Coy were married in an evening ceremony on Aug. 15, 2009 at Wesley United Methodist in Oklahoma City.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hansen of Edmond. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Coy, also of Edmond, and the grandson of Mrs. Patricia Coy and Mr. Alvin Greenhorn of Ohio.

The bride was preceded by seven bridesmaids that included the matron of honor, Janna Koehn; the bride’s sisters-in-laws, Amanda Coy and Mary-Cathryn Harris; college sorority sisters Courtney Carroll, Jamie Matlock and Sarah Welker, and childhood friend Jamie Jones.

The groom’s party included his childhood friends Jason Berry and Chad Proffit serving as the best men. The groomsmen were brother-in-law Grant Hansen; college friends Dustin Dalton, Ben Gensch, Brandon Hart and Clark Sutton; college teammates Kirk Gore and Matt Wright. College teammates Kyle Nevels and John Rogers and high school friend Josh Spears served as ushers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Civic Center Music Hall’s Meinders Hall of Mirrors in downtown Oklahoma City. Friends and family danced through the night to music by The Groove Merchants. Guests rang silver bells as the newlyweds left in the carriage that toured downtown as on-lookers kindly cheered their congratulations.

After honeymooning in Oahu, Hawaii, the couple made their home in Edmond. The groom is a graduate of Edmond North High School and the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a partner in an oil field service company. The bride is a graduate of Edmond Santa Fe High School and Oklahoma State University and works in public relations.
