Leslie Ann Kuhlman and Jessie Kyle Payne


EDMOND — Our Lord’s Community Church in Oklahoma City, Okla. was the setting for the Oct. 3, 2009 wedding of Leslie Ann Kuhlman and Jessie Kyle Payne, both of Tulsa.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lee Ann Kuhlman of Edmond, Okla., and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Naifeh and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Frederick Kuhlman, all of Norman.

The groom is the son of Ms. Georgia Lynn Looman of Norman, and Mr. Johnny Preston Payne, also of Norman. He is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Looman and the late Mr. George Looman, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Preston Payne, all of Purcell, Okla.

The ceremony was officiated by Jason Kuhlman of Edmond, brother of the bride.

The honorary matron of honor was Lee Ann Kuhlman, mother of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Maynord of Oklahoma City, Tisa Riggs of Edmond, Kristin Winters of Stillwater, Okla., Kristina Gee of Denver, Colo., Alison Petrone and Elizabeth Kuhlman, both of Norman, Kody Burns of New York City, NY., and Sara Wright of Tulsa, Okla.

The honorary best man was Johnny Payne, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Harper, Deryck Courange, Jonathan Kuhlman, Aaron Petrone, Jordan Payne and Christopher Robinson, all of Norman; Neil Stanek of Oklahoma City, and Scott Bartlett of Branson, Mo.

Ushers were Greg Dickinson and Jonathan Schuster of Oklahoma City, Jackson Looman of Norman, Kevin Kuhlman and Joel Petrone, both of Dallas, and Eben Shillingford of Tulsa.

Serving as flower girl was Joscelyn Harper of Norman, niece of the groom. Max Courange of Norman, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

House party members were Deshia Powers of Norman and Kristen Buttram of Dallas, Texas.

Readers were Mona Hamra of New York City and Lauren Koehler of Tulsa.

The wedding party and guests enjoyed a reception at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.

After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, Napa Valley and Yosemite National Park, where the bride’s grandparents spent their honeymoon, the couple reside in Tulsa.

The bride is a representative for Republic National Distributing Company and the groom is a petroleum landman for Newfield Exploration Company.
