Bonnie Suzann Folger and John Robert Stradal


EDMOND — The First Presbyterian Church of Edmond was the setting for the Oct. 24, 2009 wedding of Bonnie Suzann Folger and John Robert Stradal, both of Edmond.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Charles Douglas Folger and Nita Forrest Folger of Edmond. The groom is the son of Terry John and Theresa Stradal, also of Edmond.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. John Gruel.

The matron of honor was Megan Austin Guynes, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Bridesmaids were Caroline Correia, Lila Rastakhiz, and Casey Shelley, all of Edmond; Mary Lynn Fryer of Dallas, Texas, Madison Hensley of Tulsa, Okla. and Lindsay Strickland of Oklahoma City.

The bestmen were Stephen Cooley of Edmond, and Derrick Lippert of Tulsa. Serving as groomsmen were Hesham Ashan, James Bower, and J.J. Clem, all of Edmond; Brett Behenna of Norman, Okla., Kyle McGivern of Asheville, N.C. and Joshua Wolverton of Lawton.

Ushers were Brandon Gorsky of San Francisco, Calif. and Jarad Guynes of Oklahoma City.

The junior bridesmaid was Sarah Pulley of Edmond, niece of the groom, and the junior groomsman was Jacob Pulley also of Edmond, nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at the Petroluem Club Special Events Center at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame Museum.

The newlyweds reside in Edmond and have planned a future honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a fourth grade teacher at Cross Timbers Elementary School and the groom is a landman for Kepco Oil and Gas Exploration.
