Alexis Hefner and Blake Burckart were joined in Holy Matrimony on July 6, 2013, in a formal setting at the First Presbyterian Sanctuary in Oklahoma City, Okla. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Matt Meinke.
The bride is the daughter of Carol and Robert Alexander Hefner IV of Edmond, Okla. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Sam Coury and Mr. Robert A. Hefner III.
The groom is the son of Susan and J. Robert Burckart of Bentonville, Ark. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Pinky Davis, the late Mr. John Burckart and Mrs. Barbara Platner of Rogers, Ark.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a couture design from Monique Lhullier.
Serving as matron of honor was sister of the bride, Iman Hefner Berglan. Sister of the bride, Gabrielle Hefner, served as maid of honor. Also serving the bride were sisters-in-law, Brooke Burckart Sanderson of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kellie Hefner of Oklahoma City. Others were Jamy Green, Las Vegas, Nev., Colbie Magness of OKC, Jordan Watkins of Bentonville, Hannah Glover of Houston, Texas, Allison Davis of Santa Monica, Calif., Lindsey Lookadoo of Bentonville, Elizabeth Leggett of Fayetteville.
Serving as house party attendants were the bride’s cousins, Mia Solheim, Allie and Maddy Coury, and friends Ryan McNitt, all of Edmond. Kappa Sorority sisters, Joanna Reed, Danielle Pestel, Rae-Marie Busby and Hollin Koh of Fayetteville. also served.
Best man was Richard Watkins III of Bentonville. Groomsmen included brothers-in-law, Robert Sanderson of Fayetteville, and Robert Alexander Hefner V of Oklahoma City. Also, Cody Kees of Fayetteville, Nash Thomas, Mitch McCuistian, and Brad Secrist all of Oklahoma City; Jordan Greer of Bentonville, Robert Spears of Denver, Colo., Will Morrow of Houston, Texas, Thomas Welch of Dallas, Texas, and Justin Bentley of Fayetteville.
Ushers were Kane Davis, Zach Berglan, Brian Lookadoo, Brett Fleck, Will Moore, Kellen Anderson, Brad Siamakoun, Andrew Shelor and Jordan Greer.
Ring bearers were Tristan and Beckett Berglan, nephews of the bride. Miss Charlotte Davis, cousin of the groom, was flower girl and bell ringer was Nicholas Davis.
Guests were greeted at a glittering reception following the ceremony at the historic First National Bank.
The newly married couple departed at the stroke of midnight and retreated for their honeymoon at a private resort in the Caribbean. They will make their home in Oklahoma City where Alexis is a credit analyst with the Accelerate Career Track Program at Bank of Oklahoma and Blake is an attorney with Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
