Arcadia Lake

Public access at Arcadia Lake will reopen on Friday, June 21. The parks have been closed since May 21 due to continued flooding from heavy rainfall and the ensuing runoff.

Lake users should still expect closures in each of the parks as waters continue to recede and debris clean-up is ongoing. Barricades and closure signs must be heeded to ensure the safety of lake users and staff. Specific information on continued closures can be found at or by calling 405-216-7470.

As of Thursday afternoon, lake levels are now below an elevation of 1,012 feet which is six feet above normal water elevation. Caution is strongly encouraged to all lake users as the elevated water levels can still be dangerous and all water safety precautions should be observed.

To make up for the month-long closure, Arcadia Lake annual pass holders will receive an additional month added to their expiration date. This will be handled through an informal grace period process. For more information on annual passes and all lake user fees, please visit
