As Jane Wilson faced treatment for breast cancer, she knew God had answers in his word for the healing — both physical and emotional — that she so desperately sought.

To help others cope with the same experience, the Edmond author created a journal full of hope and encouragement in which a breast cancer patient can chronicle her journey, record her hopes and fears, and find the solace and peace that only God’s Word can bring. The book was recently released nationwide, titled “A Jar for My Tears: A Journal of Prayer and Healing for Women with Breast Cancer.”

“As I read ‘A Jar for My Tears,’ I thought of the many women I have known over the years who would have benefited from this devotional — women who suddenly found themselves in an intense battle for their lives, faith, and emotional well-being” said oncology nurse Ann Merkel. “This book is a sword, forged out of her own encounter, equipping women in the fight against breast cancer. Thank you, Jane.”

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available at bookstores nationwide, can be ordered through the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
