Edmond Police said they have arrested two Edmond women on a complaint of violating the city’s anti-underage drinking law during a birthday party.

On Friday police were dispatched to the zero block of South Bryant Avenue in response to a call about a loud party, according to a report filed by Officer Jason Rigsby.

When police arrived they spoke to Amber Reanne Callaway, 20, of Edmond, and Mary Elizabeth Mulanax, 20, of Edmond, and during the conversation they could see about 50 people inside the residence, along with hundreds of beer cans, police said. People also were holding beer cans and what appeared to be mixed beverages, the report stated.

Police said they asked the party-goers how many of them were under age 21, and the majority of them raised their hands. Police arrested Callaway and Mulanax on a complaint of violating the social host ordinance, allowing alcohol to be served to minors, the report states.
