An Edmond woman was sent to the hospital after suffering injuries in a dirt bike wreck on Monday.

An Edmond woman was injured as a passenger in a Honda dirt bike collision at 3:18 a.m. Monday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Callie King, 22, was admitted in fair condition at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City when transported by Guthrie Emergency Medical Services.

The collision occurred south of Guthrie about four-tenths of a mile south of Ridge Drive, OHP reported.

OHP stated that King was a passenger on a dirt bike driven by Guthrie resident Conner Lee Flanagan, 21. Flanagan was heading south when for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and laid the motorcycle on its side, according to OHP. Flanagan drove himself with head, arm, and leg injuries to Mercy Hospital Logan County where he was treated and released, according to OHP. 

King was driven to Mercy Hospital Logan County by Flanagan before emergency services transported her to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, the OHP report states.

OHP noted that Flanagan had an odor of alcohol about him. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
