Work to resurface a one mile section of Santa Fe Avenue is slated to begin Saturday. The entire project is expected to take approximately two weeks with cooperative weather.
The area of Santa Fe to be resurfaced is from Coffee Creek Road to Sorghum Mill. The road will remain open during this time, but motorists should expect traffic to be reduced to one lane with the use of flaggers.
This resurfacing is part of the scheduled 2015-16 Mill & Overlay projects for the City of Edmond. Haskell Lemon Construction Company is the contractor for with a total cost of $2,034,625.
