Work to resurface a half-mile section of 15th Street is slated to begin Monday, June 10. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks with cooperative weather.
The area of 15th Street to be resurfaced is from the west city limits to Santa Fe Avenue. The roadway will remain open during this time, but traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to find an alternate route if possible.
This resurfacing is part of the scheduled 2018-19 Mill & Overlay projects for the City of Edmond. Haskell Lemon Construction is the contractor for these projects with a total cost of $2,139,250.50.
