Cody Troutman

University of Central Oklahoma graduate Cody Troutman was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American. 

AUSTIN, Texas — The Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday its Google Cloud Academic All-America Teams for NCAA Division II at-large sports and University of Central Oklahoma men's golfer Cody Troutman earned First Team honors.

A native of Edmond, Troutman was named First Team Academic All-American for the second time in three years. He also earned the honor following the 2016-17 season.

The Google Cloud Academic All-America Team honors the best of student-athletes excelling on both their respective fields of play as well as in the classroom. Student-athletes must have at least a 3.30 grade point average to be eligible.

Troutman has a 4.0 GPA and just last month, graduated from Central with his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was the Class Marshal for the UCO College of Business, the top academic honor for graduates.

Troutman was a four-year letterwinner for the Broncho golf team from 2015-19. He was an All-MIAA selection and helped the team to the NCAA national championships and also earned the 2017 NCAA Elite 90 Award, given to the student-athlete at the national championships with the highest grade point average.
